Our Story

Our mission is to connect families with quality German Shorthaired Pointers. We start with a foundation based on proper breeding and health certifications to bring you years of love, happiness, and adventures with your dog. The standards that make up this breed make our dogs a perfect fit for anyone with an active lifestyle. We believe in staying true to the breed standard and look to produce dogs that have a desire to hunt and a loyalty to your family.

I am Jonn Rafoss, owner of Paradise Hill Gun Dogs in Troy, Vermont. My wife and I began this kennel so that we could breed family-centered German Shorthaired Pointers. Growing up in the country, we always had GSPs as pets and hunting partners.

At our kennel, we breed for health, drive, and temperament. Our GSPs have OFA testing for hips, elbows, heart, eyes, and cone degeneration genetics.
